Free Consultation
All projects start out with a 100% free, no obligation consultation where you and I can communicate about the sort of project you are interested in, the style, photos, time frame, and of course, a price estimate. Whether you just discovered scrapbooking and are confused by all the terminology, or you are a seasoned scrapbooker with no time to scrap, I will communicate with you until we are both comfortable and know what each of us expects. We can consult via e-mail, phone (if within the United States), chat, or even in person if you are local to Long Beach, California.
Digital Scrapbook Design
I will take your photographs and bring out the best in them to make a layout or album to suit your own style. Do you like bright and colorful? How about shabby chic, heritage, clean and simple, grungy, graphic, paper-style, romantic, or quite simply unique? Each project will inspire something wonderful with your photos and consultation. We will make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your finished product.
Square layouts in 8x8 and 12x12 sizes are the most versatile and popular. Albums are readily available in a range of materials and prices in these sizes both online and at most craft shops and large retailers. If you would rather I purchase the album for you, that can be arranged. Click here for samples in the gallery.
Custom sizes are also available. Please ask about them during our consultation or in your initial contact email.
Memory Purses
Show off your loved ones everywhere you go in a personalized photo memory purse! These beautiful and sturdy purses have two protected windows that all you to insert a scrapbook layout in each side. They come in 10.5 inches wide x 8.5 inches tall and are 3 inches deep. The handles measure 22 inches in length. Custom layouts can be ordered for the purses or save money by purchasing a pre-made layout that I will add your photos and information to (see pre-made memory purse layouts here)! Also comes in mini size of 7.5 inches wide x 5.5 inches tall and 2 inches deep to hold a 5x7 photo or scrapbook layout.
Explosion books
They are quite popular right now and once you hold one in your hands, you will see why! These small books pack quite the punch with fold-out sections that hold little surprises like photos or journaling. They close back together and are tied closed with a coordinated ribbon. These are offered in one-sided or two-sided styles with a standard three page digitally designed layout (sample photos coming soon) that measure 4x4 inches when folded.
Scrapbook in a Box
Another fun way to preserve memories or thank someone special is with these fantastic scrapbooks in a box. Simply lift off the lid and the box collapses to display a center square for a title and some journaling and four flaps with three small pages each. Photos, decorations, journaling, and titles can be displayed on all the surfaces (sample photos coming soon). This is also a fantastic way to present someone with a small additional gift that can be enclosed in this approx 4x4x4 inch box. Additional ideas: place to store baby teeth with photos of child with missing teeth, baby’s first year with lock of first hair cut, anniversary with gift inside, fun way to present a gift certificate, the possibilities are endless! Please note that due to the nature of this project, most of it is done traditionally with very minimal, if any, digital design and printing.
Custom Projects
Do you have a custom project in mind? A request for a design for a custom purse, T-shirt, mouse pad, ceramic tile, announcements and other items is welcome! Prices and project specifications will be thoroughly discussed before any final arrangements are made. Feel free to stretch my creative juices, I look forward to your special projects!
